30 Days of Baby Steps

There are big goals you have in life. While you know it takes work to achieve the big goals, you probably think it is too hard to do anything. Thus you keep planning to take an action step later.

You know your long term goals. The problem most people have with long term goals is thinking about the small steps involved. Every big goal can be broken down into smaller steps. No matter what your goal is, you can take action steps that lead towards it.

Your goal may be to move into a new house. While you may not have the house, you know it requires things like more money. Perhaps you may need other things like learning how to build. You would also need to decide where you want to live and what you need in that neighborhood.

Other goals may be easier to plan. If you wanted to become a film director you would want to study filming each day. Could be that you would make a film each day.

Break down your steps into little pieces you could handle in an hour. Then each day over the next 30 days, spend an hour working towards your goals. The hardest part is taking that first step. Over the next 30, you will take that first step and many more. You might find yourself much closer to your goals than you can imagine.  ~ MJ Schrader
